The caption is evidence too
The record pairs a Japanese title about cherry blossoms at Akasaka’s Benkei Bridge with the English wording ending “CHEYERI”. The metadata gives a 9 × 14 cm extent but no publisher or publication year. This is not a reason to silently normalise the historical wording in a transcription.
Landscape image versus seasonal observation
An editorial comparison with a cherry-observation dataset is useful: a postcard presents a selected view, while a dated observation records a defined milestone at a monitored tree.
